Attorney Bio

My practice has always focused on the interplay between creativity and technology.  I have represented both individuals and companies, from household names to the up-and-coming, across a wide range of creative industries, including podcasting, advertising, fashion, film, hospitality, music, television, and theater.

I began my legal career at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where I represented clients in music, film, television, fashion, and aerospace industries. Before joining Cravath, I served as a judicial extern to the Honorable (and beloved) Charles P. Sifton, U.S.D.J., in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

I was a partner and founded the Podcast Industry Group at Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard, and was an attorney in the Content, Media & Entertainment practice of Jenner & Block.  At both firms, I represented podcast, music, film, television, and theatre clients, including in dealmaking, copyright ownership and enforcement litigation, royalty disputes, and in the negotiation of a variety of traditional and digital media transactions.

From 2018-2023, I worked in various capacities as the Head of Podcast Business Affairs and of Podcast Content Partnerships at Pandora, SiriusXM, and Stitcher.

Before attending law school, I co-founded The 24 Hour Company where I continue to serve on the Board of Directors. There, I produced The 24 Hour Plays and The 24 Hour Musicals on Broadway and around the world, with notable artists such as muMs, Andre Royo, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Aniston, Anthony Mackie, Billy Crudup, David Cross, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Rock, Peter Dinklage, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.  I was also the Managing Director of The Play Company.

I have served on the boards of The 24 Hour Company; INTAR Theatre, one of the country’s oldest Latino theatre companies; and sat on the emerging leaders council of BRIC, which produces the popular concert series, Celebrate Brooklyn.
